Challenge

Home – Eat to Live is a new vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free restaurant aiming to provide a sustainable plant-based lifestyle by their selective use of ingredients, eco-friendly packaging and practices. They aim to be a vegan and health-conscious fast-food chain in Asia. Home needed a full visual identity to help them launch their first flagship store in Hong Kong.

Solution

We worked with Home to design a visual identity that is inspired by the link between animals and their environment. This can be seen in the logo which draws from wood, fire, earth and water, the core elements that support life. We were also inspired by alchemy and so each of the letters and symbols in the design have meaning. Additionally, wild animals were integrated in the names of the dishes and the restaurant featured a wall with endangered animal facts.

Impact

Home – Eat to Live enjoyed a very successful launch and opening in Hong Kong. It is Hong Kong’s biggest vegan restaurant and is a bustling place among locals.
