Challenge

Born out of a love affair with hoppy beers and founded among the creative, free-thinking culture of Fremantle (Western Australia), Little Creatures Brewing is a flavour-loving brewery. They found their new home in the laid back Kennedy Town, serving up their signature craft beer as well as delicious pub grub. To meet the needs of Hong Kong customers, Little Creatures needed help to incorporate local adaptations into the brand. The goal was to give Hong Kong’s location a refreshed collateral assets without straying away from the original brand.

Solution

kith&kin conducted a brand audit to better understand what the existing elements were and how they could be repurposed for the Hong Kong branch with a more local feel. We expanded the colour palette and typography to make the brand richer, more flexible and fun. We added gold to give a new-age yet vintage feel and paired a sans serif font with a serif. kith&kin also hand-painted the front signage with gold leaf, making sure Little Creatures welcomes their guests with a strong first impression.

Impact

Little Creatures was Hong Kong’s first microbrewery to open and has become a popular up & coming addition to the Kennedy Town neighbourhood.
