Challenge

Go Lucky by Thierry Chow is a contemporary concept fusing Feng Shui with mindful, modern design to create the space you love. Feng Shui runs in the family for Thierry Chow. Since 2011, Thierry has been apprenticing under her father, Mr Chow Hon Ming, one of Hong Kong’s most respected Feng Shui masters. Thierry Chow needed a way to be able to communicate complex metaphysical terms easily and aesthetically, as well as to have an identity that can encompass this all.

Solution

kith&kin worked with Thierry Chow to create a visual identity that would help her launch her own Feng Shui practice. For the visual design, we looked at the five elements which are at the core of Feng Shui and how these elements are represented by colours and dots, as well as how the elements interact with each other. From this, we created an iconography system using dots and colour so that the elements could be used in various combinations to represent each individual person.

Impact

Following the launch of Go Lucky by Thierry Chow, Thierry has enjoyed immense success including exclusive interviews with CNN, BBC, Vogue features as well as her collaboration with Lane Crawford.
