Reimagining the Home of the Dragons as a modern hub for wellness, community, and school pride.
Challenge
HKIS tasked Kith&Kin with creating a brand identity for the Dragon Center for Activities and Athletics (DCAA), a state-of-the-art wellness ecosystem serving students, faculty, alumni, and the wider public. The challenge was unifying these diverse user groups under one cohesive brand while capturing the school's "Dragon Spirit." The identity needed to balance the functional demands of a modern athletic complex with the emotional resonance of the school mascot, feeling inclusive to all while remaining distinctly HKIS.
Solution
Kith&Kin positioned the DCAA as the "Home of the Dragons," where environment, programming, and human potential converge. A "Volume Slider" visual identity system allows the brand to adapt by audience, clean and informative for administrative use, vibrant and energetic for student events. This included modernising core HKIS assets: redesigning the school emblem and Dragon mascot, rooted in the school's faith-based heritage yet refined for today. The result is a cohesive brand that keeps the Dragon Spirit alive for every generation.
